As your marriage celebrant it is my honour to help you create your perfect day for sharing your happiness with family and friends, from planning and writing the ceremony to guiding you through the completion of all the legal requirements. ABOUT ME
After many years working in the entertainment industry in the UK, I returned home to my native Australia a few years ago and found a wonderful new vocation in becoming a Registered Marriage Celebrant.
In my former professional life as a singer, actress and teacher I worked in film, on stage and in television, including being in the original London cast of 'Phantom of the Opera' and contributing vocals to the 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Harry Potter' movies, among many others. I have played to all sorts of audiences internationally in venues ranging from small and intimate halls to huge stadiums giving me wide experience in public speaking, performance and event co-ordination.
I am very approachable and friendly and I bring warmth, humour, and boundless enthusiasm, as well as all the skills of a performer, writer and event manager and a wealth of life experience to the role of celebrant. I am passionate about helping couples achieve their wedding day dreams using all these life skills I've acquired over the years. I support marriage equality and am thrilled that all couples are now able to declare their love for each other and their future together through marriage.
I am lucky enough to live with my husband David and golden retriever Barley in the stunningly beautiful Sapphire Coast region of far south New South Wales where wonderful natural locations for your wedding dream are available in abundance. WEDDING SERVICES
There are as many ideas and stories for wedding ceremonies as there are soon-to-be-wed couples, and listening to your story and turning it into your dream ceremony is one of the great pleasures of being a celebrant. Here on the Sapphire Coast we have many beautiful empty beaches and abundant bush locations for a wonderful natural wedding. Or you may want a themed ceremony such as your favourite video game or period costume. You might prefer a more traditional white wedding or you may want to include a symbolic ritual such as hand fasting or a sand ceremony.
Some couples want a simpler more affordable ceremony that still recognizes their legal union in a meaningful way. I also offer a shorter and cheaper no frills ceremony that includes all the necessary legal elements but is still a joyful and sincere expression of your marriage.
I support marriage equality and am thrilled that all couples are now able to declare their love for each other and their future together through marriage.
Whatever your ideas are they can be included in your ceremony to truly reflect your personalities and relationship. If after an obligation-free interview you decide you'd like me to be your celebrant I'll talk you through all the legal requirements and we can then start planning your ceremony. My service includes a rehearsal in the couple of weeks leading up to the ceremony, preparation of all legal documents and certificates including the presentation of the Marriage Certificate on your wedding day, and writing and conducting your ceremony.

FEES
My fee for celebrancy services is $900. If travel of more than 100k round trip is required there may be a small additional charge.
Marriage Education
As a celebrant it is my professional responsibility to inform you of options for pre-marriage courses. Although it is not compulsory these services are highly recommended.
